DIRECT CREMATION

Direct Cremation Pricing Plan

A direct cremation is a modern alternative to a traditional cremation funeral. The cremation takes place completely separately to a service. Our families may choose afterwards their own special remembrance event for a personal farewell.

Service Details

Our fee of £1,734 (unattended) / £1,875 (attended) includes:

  • Our professional services for arranging and overseeing the cremation
  • Completion of the legal paperwork
  • Conveying coffin to the crematorium for a non-attendance cremation
  • Bringing your loved one into our care **
  • Collection of the cremated remains from the crematorium
  • Payment of £534 to the crematorium (unattended)
  • Payment of £675 to the crematorium (attended)

* If a larger coffin is required this will incur an additional cost from £250.

** Add £1.65 per mile if deceased is located over a 20-mile radius of PO20 0QL.

If you would like a personal and meaningful smaller service, we offer our chapel in Selsey. Our chapel can hold 25 people and with your own choice of music it truly becomes bespoke.

Our fee of £2,934 includes:

  • Service in our chapel of rest with a maximum of 25 people
  • Our professional services for arranging and overseeing the cremation and completion of all legal paperwork
  • Conveying coffin to the crematorium for a non-attendance cremation
  • Bringing your loved one into our care *
  • Collection of the cremated remains from the crematorium
  • Payment of £534 to the crematorium

TRADITIONAL CREMATION

For those who would like a traditional cremation service, we can advise you of all the options available to you. That’s not to say that you can’t still personalise the day, because we can tailor everything to your exact wants and needs.

We will talk you through every option available, we’ll also make sure the day runs just as you would like it to and support you every step of the way.

All funeral directors are legally required to publish this Price List for a standardised set of products and services. This is to help you think through your options and make choices, and to let you compare prices between different funeral directors (because prices can vary).

ATTENDED FUNERAL (funeral director’s charges only)

This is a funeral where family and friends have a ceremony, event or service for the deceased person at the same time as they attend their burial or cremation.
